I have worked on community events and parades for many years, making large processional images and costumes, props, lanterns and puppets with community groups. I have also worked as an artistic director, stage manager and performer.

I love the energy created by communities coming together to celebrate creativity and take pride in where they live. My designs tell a story, with artist made pieces and creations from community workshops coming together to make one unforgettable image. The transformative nature of these events, and the way they encourage people to take positive ownership of public spaces, is very special to me and is an important part of my practice.
