LANTERN COMPANY
I have a long history with The Lantern Company and have been a part of many events and projects over the last 20 years. After several years as an apprentice artist,
I became a lead artist and a core member of the company.
I have designed and created a number of Lantern Company puppets over the years, and have worked collaboratively on many more. I have played a key role in training and facilitation for many UK and international events, including the Capital of Culture celebrations in Aarhus, Denmark (2016) and work with the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (2013 - 2018).
OXFORD COVERED MARKET
In 2018, I created The White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, as part of Oxford's Christmas Light Festival. It was the lead image for the city's Lantern Parade and was sited at the historic Oxford Covered Market.

The following year, Oxford City Council invited me to create 7 more Alice in Wonderland character lanterns, to be displayed in the market on a permanent basis.

Other Lantern Work
I have also created lanterns for several other companies. In 2017, I created two dragon lanterns for Headstrung Puppets, as the centrepiece for "Here be Dragons", a street performance designed for both daytime and evening performances.
In 2016, I designed and was lead maker on six backpack lantern puppets for Walk the Plank, as part of the huge outdoor spectacle "Ar Waith Ar Daith", at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium.
